Our Christian Beliefs:
Statement of Faith:
We Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that he came to earth in
the form of a man. Was born of a virgin, live a sinless life. Died on the cross
for the sins of the world. Was bury and rose on the third day, and is now seated
at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Will be coming back to earth soon to
set up His kingdom. He came the first time as a lamb, the second time He will
come as a lion.
We also believe that once you have accepted Christ and believe in His
sacrifice for your sins, you are born again not by the will of the flesh, nor of
the will of man, but of God. As many as receive Him (Jesus) to them gave He
power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name.
We fellowship at the Hiawatha Bible Chapel in Wabasha. Their statement of
faith is as Following:
- The inspiration of the Bible in all parts and without error in its
origin;
- The one God, eternally existent Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Who created
all things by a direct immediate act;
- The pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles,
substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to Heaven, and the second
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ;
- The fall of man, the need of regeneration by the operation of the Holy
Spirit on the basis of grace alone, and the resurrection of all: to life or
damnation;
- The spiritual relationship of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ,
living a life of righteous works, separated from the world, wtnessing of His
saving grace through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
